New guideline scope on dementia: the consultation
We’re excited to announce the development of our new guideline: Maintaining meaningful occupations and maximising independence while living with dementia.
The first step in developing this guideline is to define its scope, which describes what the guideline will be about and what we hope to achieve. The Guideline Development Group, which is made up of experts in dementia including occupational therapists, people diagnosed with dementia and their ers, has drafted the scope and would like your input.
You can and read the scope below, and then provide your via this form. Your will help refine the scope to ensure it serves as the best possible foundation for the guideline.
You have until 11:59 PM on Monday, 12 May 2025 to submit your . If you have any questions, need help completing the form, or would prefer to send your comments via a Word document, please [email protected].
The scope is the foundation for a guideline’s success. We encourage occupational therapists, stakeholder organisations and people with lived experience to provide their thoughts on the scope. The more voices we hear, the stronger the scope will be. Dr Elizabeth Taylor, RCOT Research and Development Manager
